Biography

Dr Tsouh is a biologist specialized in drug discovery field research. Dr Tsouh studied Biochemistry at the Faculty of Science of the University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon, where he also received his Ph.D in Biochemistry, working on the ethnopharmacological survey and antiplamodial activity of plants used to treat malaria in four areas of Cameroon. He also holdaMPhil. in Biomedical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University of Yaoundé 1.He performed postdoctoral studies at the Antimicrobial Agents Unit, University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon, studying Potency of Malaria box compounds against Entamoebahistolitica and Toxoplasma gondii. He is currently a Postdoctoral fellow at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, University of Ghana, Ghana, working on anti-mycobacterial activity of ethnobotanically selected plants.

 
Research Interest
His main research activities focus on analysis of traditional medicinal plants using bioassay-guided research strategies for their anti-mycobacterial, antiprotozoal, antimalarial and cytotoxic properties as well as their constituents.
